Troubling Trump

Most of you have heard the buzz about the lawsuit involving the now-defunct Trump University which was the brainchild and machination of none other than presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump.  As a consumer lawyer I am appalled at some of the things that may have occurred. High pressure sales tactics, encouraging people to max out credit cards and loan money to

pay for tuition and materials, grandiose and
sometimes false claims re the faculty and content and results of the school.  These are similar to the misdeeds I encounter when I am investigating and handling a consumer fraud case.

As if the allegations are not problematic enough, during the course of the case Mr. Trump insults the judge who is managing the case. Not good.  And to think Mr. Trump wants Americans to elect him as their leader and perhaps the most powerful leader in the world. Count me out on that one and with good reason.  Politics aside, this Trump University case and Trump’s handling of it and his other sources of criticism strike me as something less-than-Presidential.  ‘Nuff said.

“…Trump said on Friday in San Diego, saying Curiel is, ‘[w]e believe, Mexican…’.”

Silly Trump – doesn’t he know that you have to be an American Citizen to be appointed Federal District Court Judge?

    • Mere details, my friend. Mr. Trump steamrolls over the details and often the facts. Now that the race is Clinton v Trump the American people can get their popcorn ready for the show. The sad part is that there is a lot of serious work to be done for whomever becomes President. Be well my friend and thanks for your support.

I find it interesting that Trump never had a problem with this judge presiding over his case until he made a ruling he didn’t agree with. Bias?
