Free Legal Consultation on Friday, March 1st! Mark Your Calendar!

The North Carolina Bar Association will be holding the sixth annual Statewide Service Day (a/k/a Call a Lawyer Day) this Friday, March 1, 2013.  Lawyers at seven call centers across North Carolina will take calls and provide free consultations.  Note the consultation is meant to be somewhat brief and no legal representation shall result from the call.  In other words, the call is merely a consultation but this free consultation may save you some time and money in the long run.  Even a little knowledge can be valuable.

The primary purpose of Friday’s statewide event is to give people one day of free access to legal information and guidance.  Note this is a true benefit for people with questions regarding employment law and family law since attorneys in those areas of law typically do not provide free consultation.  Here is the pertinent information for those of you interested in calling:

If the nature and extent of your questions and needs goes beyond what can be handled in a phone call this Friday you will need to make arrangements to contact a lawyer at a later time.  I provide free consultations all year round.  Just check my areas of practice and see if your question or problem falls within one (or more) of them.  Or if you are not sure just contact me.  If I am not able to assist you I will try my best to point you to someone who can.

Bottom line:  get help when you need it and preferably sooner rather than later.  Waiting can be costly.  Best wishes and I look forward to serving if the need and opportunity should arise….
